Talk
Self-monitoring of blood pressure is a proven method for managing hypertension, yet its adoption remains inconsistent. In my MSc dissertation in Human-Computer Interaction, I conducted a mixed-method user research study to explore this issue. The research employed surveys, autoethnography, and participatory design to gain a deeper understanding of patients’ experiences and pain points with self-monitoring practices.

EcoFashion Scanner [CHI '24]

Goal
To support the UN Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Production and Consumption, with a focus on the fashion industry. This solution aims to empower users to make more sustainable fashion choices.
🏆 This project was awarded with the runner-up position at the student design competition presented at CHI conference 2024 @ Honolulu, Hawaii and published in ACM conference proceedings.

SmartHear addresses one of the key risk factors for dementia—hearing loss—through science-based games, for example, cocktail party simulation, designed to enhance hearing abilities and promote auditory health.
